Our Shipping Policy
Most of the orders you make with GoodWine4Less.com will ship within 48 hours. Since GoodWine4Less offers wine at "Deep Discounts" we charge you a "Shipping and Handling Charge" which is at the rate of just $.50 (50 cents) per bottle, which includes packing your wine in special protective boxes and preparing it for shipping via Federal Express™ standard ground shipping service.
Orders received after 12:30 pm U.S. Central Time will be processed the following business day. Thank you for your patience. GoodWine4Less.com has a policy not to ship certain products via Ground delivery services in extremely cold or hot weather. See our policy on Weather Conditons below.
Weather Conditions
When weather is extremely hot, especially during summer months, GoodWine4Less may delay shipments until temperatures are suitable for shipping wine via ground transportation with common carriers. If you do not wish to wait for temperatures to moderate, please choose expedited next day air shipping for your order. These rates can be very expensive and we do not suggest that this is a reasonable alternative but it is the only way that we can have any reasonable assurance that the wine will not be spoiled by high temperatures.
In-Store Pickup
If you live near our store, you can ask to have your wine held for pickup at the store and save all shipping and handling charges. If you choose this option it is your responsibility to pickup your wine within 7 days of the order. If you do not pickup the wine within 7 days, it will be returned to inventory and your order will be refunded to your credit card less a $10 restocking fee. Our store is located at 2959 Artesian Road, Suite 119, Naperville, Illinois. We are located at the corner of Route 59 and 87th Street in Naperville.
Domestic Shipping Rates
Shipping rates will be calculated on your invoice just prior to your purchase authorization. Shipping charges are subject to change and apply to the continental US only.
States We Ship To
Currently we ship to the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Idaho, Illinois,
Iowa, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. Since shipping laws are always changing we reserve the right to change our shipping policy as the local laws dictate. We will not knowingly ship to a state where the state laws specifically prohibit direct shipments, however since you are asking us to ship your wine on your behalf, it is your responsibility to ensure that your state allows for shipments of wine directly to you.
Calculating Shpping Costs
Shipping costs for orders from GoodWine4Less.com depends upon the method and option you choose. Please also note that the shipping rates for most items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Important message about our Inventory
Occasionally, we will sell-out of an item due to the volume of our business despite our retail database being updated daily. If we have sold out of a particular item that you order, we will notify you that either the item is on order and will be shipped once received or that we are unable to fulfill your order. If we cannot fulfill your order your credit card will be credited for the amount ordered for that item and you will be notified via email. Some order requests may be processed before a vintage change is reflected on our distributor invoicing and the vintage received may not be the same vintage that was displayed on our website. Please be advised that vintage changes and out of stock situations are subject to change without notice. GoodWine4Less.com reserves the right to make appropriate vintage substitutions as necessary. We reserve the right to correct errors on pricing and to limit quantities. |
